caramelldansen-ing competions

So me and my friends were having a competion on how long we could caramelldansen. It was cool, and eventully it was down to my two friends Chris, and Ke'ala. During lunch break they caramelldansen-ed for over 26 minutes! Frick they have stamina! So I can't find the longest time recorded for the longest time doing the caramelldansen, but if you can find it, tell me! Me and my friends want to try and beat this world record!

caramelldansen-ing

Caramelldansen-ing is something I invented lately. Its like planking, but doing the caramelldansen in random places. My friends and I have only done it two places so far, Olive Garden and our School, but we plan to do it other places.

Baka & Test Review

Baka & Test review
I've only watched season 1 so far, and I loved it!! This show has everything, comedy, homosexuals (guys and girls), crazy girlfriends, crazy sisters, school life, crossdressing, little people (Avatars), a pervert with a camera, a hermatidite (maybe), and a bunch of idiots. The show had me laughing the entire time. All the characters are likable, even the girls (*gasp* Denise doesn't hate the girls in an anime! amazing) and although its not popular, I bet this anime will go up on the popularity scale soon. Baka & Test has alot of things going on, and even the filler episodes have plot line in them, but being a 13 episode season, its kinda hard to have filler episodes. The show also has a trap, but not the normal kind. This poor character's name is Hideyoshi, and HE has the worst luck. Most of the time his friends mistake him for a girl, even though he has a twin sister. He usually ends up in girl's clothes and swimsuits, and a pink maid costume, a nurse outfit, and a chinese dress. Ironicly he doens't seem to mind the dresses, but the swimsuit he is bothered by. In one episode it shows that he has his own changeing room, and bath at a public bath.
I haven't checked if there is a manga to the show yet, but I hope there is, cuz I would like to read it. Plus season 2 is currently being realeased both on Youtube.com/Funimation and the Funimation website (funimation.com). I can't wait to watch season 2. I really recomend this show.
My Rating: 9.5
(sorry I watched this on youtube so it doesn't have another rating)

Spirtied Away 7 virtues and sins

Spirited Away 7 sins and virtues
In Miyazaki's movie Spirited Away, Chihiro and the other characters commit the seven deadly sins of the Catholic way, but also the seven heavenly virtues.  As of the seven deadly sins Yubaba lusts for power and money, but makes Haku do all the work for her.  As for gluttony we see this in one of the first scenes.  Chihiro's parents eat food from the spirits, while Chihiro holds back.  When she tries to convince her parents what they are doing is wrong her father climes it's ok because he "has a pocket full of cash and credit cards."  They later get turned into pigs to prove their gluttony.  NohFace shows complete anger in the bathhouse cause mostly but the greed of the workers at the bathhouse.  He goes insane and eats the workers as if trying to rid himself and other people of sin.  But by doing so creates even more sin, and a huge mess.  NohFace only returns to his normal self when he leaves the bathhouse and vomits up the things he has eaten out of greed and rides his insides of the sinners he had eaten.  The bathhouse in these scenes represents sin itself and a dark force's influence.  When Chihiro get 'turned' into Sen she starts working but seems to be slower and less experienced then the other workers.  Len (or Rin) later asks Sen if she has ever worked a day in her life and Sen seems to give off the opinion that she never did work, and she was spoiled.  Thus making her have the attribute of slothfulness, from before the movie.  The workers are very prideful and show this by shunning Sen and showing prejudice.  Even though they are the same status in the bathhouse she is treated like an underling.   Zeniba shows that she envies her sister by playing pranks on her.  She takes the things she thinks her sister loves or needs and transforms them into a mouse and a bird.  She doesn't take any money, so that shows that she believes her sister has some sort of a heart and would only truly be affected by the absence of a henchmen and Yubaba's own baby.
As contradictory the characters also show in the move the seven heavenly virtues.  Sen shows faith in herself as she tries to get to Swamp Bottom and seems to believe in herself more to save Haku.  Repeatedly Sen shows that she has gained fortitude in herself threw out the movie. She also hopes for Haku's recovery and believes in him and holds onto the fact that she thinks Haku is a good person even though she is is told repeatedly that he is a bad person, thief, Yubaba's henchmen, etc.  The virtue of charity was shown when Zeniba invited NohFace to live with her.  By doing this she keeps NohFace from the bathhouse and gives him a place to stay, and have some sort of family.  Sen also shows temperance when NohFace offers her money in the bathhouse.  She repeatedly denies the money and both times hurries off to have Haku.  She doesn't give into greed and take the money and also shows loyalty to her friends.  Haku shows his since of justice when he tried to repay Chihiro by setting her free from Yubaba's contract.  He also follows Chihiro back to the bathhouse after he remembered his real name, to make sure Yubaba follows threw their deal.  And when Chihiro has to choose which one of the pigs is her parents she shows a clear mind and prudence.  In the end she chooses correctly (no of the pigs were her parents) and is able to return home with them.

07 Ghost Review

07 Ghost review
Even though I am an athiest (someone who doesn't believe in any religion) I really enjoyed 07 Ghost. Its an anime that mainly takes place in a church and many God references are made threw out the show. Usually I find this annoying and quit the anime but this time I stuck with it and wasn't disappointed. I started the series a few months after I got 3 volumes of the manga for my birthday from Stephine. I had stopped watching it for a while to focus on finishing Kuroshitsuji, but when I got back to it, I finished it in a couple of days. It was great. Its on the list on animes whose fanbase is mainly yaoi and I can see why. In the show there are only 3 girls who appear regularly threw out the series and they're nuns. The main character Teito seems to have a thing for blonds for his first friend Mikage, and then the Bishop Frau, and then his roommate Hakuen are all blonds. Now I'm not a emotional person and I don't cry easily at animes, movies, etc but this one had me to the point of tears when Mikage died, and when he came back I nearly cried in happiness. This show moved me and I hope to one day read the manga and finish the series.

Like most animes, 07 Ghost doesn't cover the whole manga when animated. But unlike some *cough* Pandora Hearts *cough* it doesn't end terribly with lots of cliff hangers. To my knowledge (translates to just guessing) 07 Ghost is divided into three parts. The first part when Teito is in the church, the second is when he is looking and with Pandora's Box, and then the end when he fights Ayanami. The anime covers the first apart. It ends in a way that leaves some cliff hangers but not enough for you to pull your hair out and want to kill the people who stopped there. If one more episode was added then it would be like that, but it isn't that makes me happy. This is defiantly something I am going to watch again sometime in the future.
